Tomorrow at 8 pm, catch CoupleProv at Steel City Improv Theater: real-life couples doing it (improv) on our stage to celebrate Valentine’s Day! 💝 Get to know one of the performer couples, Abby and Eric Foote, in the interview below!
SCIT: How long have you been together?
Eric & Abby: Nine years, married for six
SCIT: How did you meet?
Eric & Abby: Online— not to brag, but she messaged me first 🙂
SCIT: How long have you been doing improv?
Eric & Abby: 5 years
SCIT: Do you often perform together?
Eric & Abby: Yes! We almost always do— the only times we don’t are things like Lady Business, or when we end up in different groups for class shows.
SCIT: What is one of your go-to moves on stage?
Eric & Abby: For Eric, adopting a “Minnesota” accent and being overly polite. For Abby, playing an old lady.
Finally, we had Abby and Eric pick three questions from the Proust Questionnaire to answer.
SCIT: Where would you most like to live?
Eric & Abby: Ireland! We spent ten days there for our honeymoon and vowed to move there when we retire.
SCIT: If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
Eric & Abby: A pair of house cats, preferably owned by childless millennials.
SCIT: When and where were you happiest?
Eric & Abby: On the couch with a good movie or show.
Above is a picture of the couple drawn by Eric.
