Step right up! Please, move in closer, fill up all available space. You there! Have you experienced… the Menagerie? Ah, yes, the Menagerie! A late-night jubilee of comedy like none other. Three acts, scarcely if ever seen before, possibly never to be seen again. An extravaganza of ephemera, a carnival of creativity, a festival of phantasmagoria! Intrigued? You know you are. Right this way…
June’s Proud coterie includes:
Pride in Technicolor: Did you see the last Life in Technicolor and think “Hmmm… could be gayer”? Well, now it is! Introducing Pride in Technicolor! For this month only, Life in Technicolor is going full rainbow and featuring exclusively LGBTQIA+ performers. There’ll be colors, cake, pans, and who knows what else?! Watch as performers randomly pick Pride-themed cards and let the corresponding color bring new life to their movements on stage. Produced by Quinn Strand; starring Natalie De Paz, Lillian Leibovich, Christina Li, Kelly Mariska, and Amanda Reed.
Improvised Benefit Concert: Riley Matilda has graced the stage for years, performing benefit concerts around the world. The one thing that separates her from the rest is that she doesn’t know what organization she’s benefiting till she’s there, and yet has been able to raise billions of dollars every. single. time. Starring Riley Stanzione.
Head to Head: Two skilled orators present their best arguments for a completely antiquated and irrelevant debate that plagues us to this very day — “Yes vs. No”, “Ketchup vs. Mustard”, “Apple vs. Orange”, you get the picture. For this special Pride Month edition of Menagerie, another age-old question gets decided: “Is iced coffee gay?” Let your voice be heard via audience vote as we settle this once and for all! Moderated by Amanda Reed, starring Ryan Nuzzo and Remy Porter.
