Physical Sketch Comedy with NBC “Bring the Funny” Finalists The Chris and Paul Show on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2pm and a ticket to The Chris and Paul Show at 8 pm on Saturday, February 8 (that evening)!
Physical comedy with Chris and Paul is a workshop that explores the theories, practices, and aesthetic components found in physical comedy and comic scenes. Participants will learn how to play the A and B characters in a sketch, as well as successfully writing and rewriting comedy sketches in order to find the proper character rhythm and musicality of a scene. Players will learn to utilize various methods of accepting critique, identify and comprehend what “Physical comedy” is and ultimately understand how to independently critique their own art form. Participants will leave with a broad understanding of the sketch format, the structure behind comedy basics, and the art of physical sketch and comedy writing.
Date and Time: Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2 PM – 5 PM includes a ticket to The Chris and Paul Show at 8 pm on Saturday, February 8 (that evening).
Tuition: $90 (Early registration sale price of $75 ends Monday, January 20, 2020.)
Prerequisite: SCIT Level 1 or equivalent experience.

They were most recently finalists on NBC’s inaugural season of “Bring the Funny.
