Woody currently is the artistic director of Steel City Improv. He has studied and performed improv for the last 16 years all in Los Angeles. He has performed and studied improv at iO West, UCB LA, Second City LA and the Groundlings. He also has coached, directed and developed shows at IO West for the last 10 years. On describing the Pittsburgh's comedy scene,
"Pittsburgh has an amazing and vibrant improv and stand-up scene that reminds me of LA in the late 90's. It's a great place to be for comedy right now."
