Steel City Improv Theater is happy to announce more level one improv classes to choose from this fall beginning the week of September 15th.  Registration has begun for all three of these Level One or Beginner classes.  Sign up before August 26th and save $50!

The Return of Philip Markle!


We are excited to announce the return of Philip Markle!  He will be presenting his new workshop, “Burn Your Fear” at the SCIT on December 22nd.  Sign up early and save $10.  Do not miss this workshop.  Philip is an amazing teacher and will definitely up your improv game!



Philip Markle moved to NYC in 2013 to launch the theatre and training center of The Annoyance Theater NY, where he acted as its Executive Director until Fall, 2016. We are very excited to host our New York improv friend Shawn Wickens.  He is presenting his workshop entitled, “Kind Improvisers: The art of being funny without trying” on Saturday, July 30th at 12pm-3pm.
